Tieguanyin originated two centuries ago in Anxi, Fujian. The aroma is fiercely floral and sweet; orchids dominate. These different styles of Tieguanyin range from sour to mellow to vegetal, and are all grown by the same elderly gentleman who has been working with Tieguanyin his entire life, so much so, that it is the only kind of tea he makes. Grown organically, picked and processed by hand, something that is becoming more rare today in Anxi.
