Tie Luo Han, or "Iron Arhat", is named after a warrior monk with dark bronze skin, who purportedly discovered this teas growing outside of Ghost Cave of Huiyuan Rock, in Wuyishan. An arhat is a person who is gaining insight into the reality of nature, and is on the road towards enlightenment. This is one of the earliest cultivars grown in Wuyishan, and possesses a deep, inwardly expanding florality, beneath a cooling, encompassing minerality.
