Cultivated Kynam is an exciting advancement in the realm of agarwood. Wild green Kynam trees were discovered in the jungles of China, their branches cut, and grafted onto commercial agarwood rootstock. Kynam, which has historically been available only to a select few, is now accessible by everyone.
The aromatic profile truly does resemble wild Kynam. The difference is that wild Kynam is typically many hundreds or thousands of years older than cultivated Kynam, and thus the complexity cannot be compared.
A creamy aroma, full of spice and flowers. Long lasting on both an electric heater and charcoal. It is recommended to start lower on the electric heater and work one's way up, to avoid persistent charred notes. Sourced from the oldest mother trees on the plantation.
